The Silk Road International Chamber of Commerce (SRICC), centered in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, a non-profit organization founded by the chambers of commerce of the countries along the route aimed at promoting cultural resurrection and trade of the Silk Road and based on tenets of “Peace and Cooperation, Openness and Inclusiveness, Mutual Learning, Mutual Benefits, All wins.”
This year’s forum was attended by the President of World Chambers Federation Peter Mihok, the Assistant Director-General of UNESCO Hans d’Orville, the founding Chairman and CEO of Phoenix Satellite Television Holdings Limited Liu Changle, Chairman of the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce and Vice Chairman of the China Chamber of International Commerce Chairman Lu Jianzhong and representatives of chambers of commerce and guests from over 30 countries who discussed topics under such as “Silk Belt and Road Opportunities for International Business”, “International Trade and Online Business Join the Belt and Road”, “Belt and Road with Chambers of Commerce”, “Belt and Road Vision and Action” and signed the SRCIC Hong Kong Declaration.
The Silk Road International Chamber of International Commerce was established with the support of International Chamber of Commerce, World Chambers Federation, “Asia Pacific Chamber of Commerce and China Chamber of International Commerce and chambers of commerce of over 30 countries as well as the PRC’s 30 leading chambers of commerce such as the Tang West Group International.
